President of Nadeau Sports Management, Jason
has a Master's Degree in Criminology and International Law from the
prestigious University of Oxford in England. He was born in Vancouver,
Canada and played two seasons of Minor Professional Hockey in Europe. He has
one year of European Professional Coaching Experience as well as two years
experience running a European University Hockey Program as a Coach.
In 2004, he became a Professional Hockey Players' Association
(PHPA)
certified Player Agent. The PHPA represents players in the American Hockey
League (AHL) and the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).
In 2007, he became
the only Canadian Agent certified by the Finnish Hockey Player's
Association (FHPA). The FHPA represents players in the Finnish
Elite League (SM-Liiga) and First Division (Mestis).
He has extensive international experience and education as a mediator,
after receiving a scholarship to participate in a joint Canada-EU
International Legal Program in Mediation and Alternative Dispute
Mechanisms. Jason's experience in this area of International Law,
Mediation and Negotiation resulted
in his being hired to work for the United Nations in Vienna as a Rapporteur
for these areas, as well as an international consultant for the Canadian
Government.
Over
the past 6 seasons, Jason has dealt with all 59 NCAA Division 1
and 33 CIS institutions with the result being that he has
recruited from or placed 32 different players at 21 different
colleges. He has secured for his clients professional contracts
and tryouts in every North American league including; the NHL, AHL,
ECHL, UHL, CHL & the SPHL. Overall, he has assisted in placing
players in 14 different countries across 30 different leagues.
